By purchasing, accessing, or using any of our digital products or our website (craftilla.com), you ("User," "Customer," or "you") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not purchase or access our products.
Note for consumers in the EU, the UK, and similar jurisdictions: Nothing in these Terms removes or reduces the mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of your country of residence. Where any term in this Agreement conflicts with a mandatory consumer right you hold locally, that mandatory right prevails.
1. Eligibility & Capacity
1.1. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to purchase our products. If you are under that age, you may use our products only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms.
1.2. By purchasing, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement and that the registration and billing information you provide is accurate.
2. Digital Products & Platform Access
We provide digital educational products focused on arts, crafts, and hobbies, including, but not limited to:
- Online courses and video modules
- Recorded trainings and demonstrations
- Downloadable materials (e.g., templates, reference images, workbooks)
- Digital community resources
2.1. Hosting Platform: Our digital products and user portals are hosted using Systeme.io. By creating an account and accessing our products, you also agree to comply with any applicable acceptable-use policies required by Systeme.io.
2.2. License Grant: Access is granted electronically after successful payment. Upon purchase, we grant you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to access and view the digital products for your personal, non-commercial use only.
2.3. Access Duration: Access remains available for as long as the product is offered ("Lifetime of the Product"), unless otherwise stated on the specific product sales page. We reserve the right to update, modify, or retire products. Where we retire a product you have purchased, we will give active users reasonable prior notice and, where practical, the opportunity to download materials.
3. Payments & Billing
All prices are displayed at checkout. Prices may change at any time, but changes do not affect purchases already completed.
3.1. Payment Processor: Payments are processed securely through our third-party payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number or raw financial data on our servers. By submitting payment, you agree to Stripe's terms of service and privacy policy.
3.2. Taxes and VAT: As an entity registered for EU VAT (EU348034273), applicable Value Added Tax (VAT) or local sales taxes are calculated and added to your total at checkout based on your billing location, in compliance with applicable tax laws.
3.3. Billing Information: You are responsible for providing complete and accurate billing and contact information. Providing false information may result in suspension or termination of your account.
4. Refunds & Right of Withdrawal
4.1. Standard Refund Policy / Money-Back Guarantee: Where a specific refund policy or money-back guarantee is offered for a particular course, the applicable refund period and conditions are stated on that product's sales page at the time of purchase. Refund requests must be submitted to support [at] craftilla.com within the timeframe specified on that sales page.
4.2. Digital Goods: Our products are digital and access is granted immediately on purchase. Outside any refund period stated on the sales page, and subject to your mandatory legal rights, no further refunds are granted.
4.3. EU/UK Right of Withdrawal: If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance purchases. For digital content supplied immediately, this right can be waived — but only if you give your express prior consent to immediate access and acknowledge that you thereby lose the right of withdrawal. At checkout you will be asked to give this consent before access is granted. If you have not expressly consented in this way, your 14-day withdrawal right continues to apply. Nothing in this section limits any other mandatory consumer-protection right you hold under the law of your country of residence.
5. Intellectual Property
All content provided by Craftilla — including videos, images, text, logos, designs, graphics, and downloadable materials — is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.
You may not:
- Copy, reproduce, distribute, or modify any part of the products beyond your personal use.
- Share, resell, sub-license, or unlawfully upload any materials.
- Publicly display or use the materials for commercial teaching purposes.
- Share your platform login credentials with unauthorized third parties.
Unauthorized use, redistribution, or sharing of materials may result in termination of access in accordance with Section 6 and may subject you to civil or criminal liability.
6. Account Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the products if we reasonably determine that you have:
- Materially violated these Terms (in particular Section 5).
- Engaged in fraudulent behavior, including payment-chargeback abuse or filing false disputes.
- Engaged in harassing, abusive, or disruptive behavior within our hosted community areas.
Where we terminate for cause, refunds are governed by Section 4 and by your mandatory legal rights. Where practical and lawful, we will give you notice and an opportunity to remedy a violation before terminating.
7. No Guarantees & Disclaimer of Results
We provide educational information and demonstrations for artistic and hobbyist purposes only.
We do not guarantee any specific financial, business, or artistic performance results. The visual results shown in our marketing materials or courses are produced by experienced creators. Your personal results depend on your own effort, prior skill level, chosen materials, and circumstances.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
8.1. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the products and website are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that the products will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
8.2. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties. In those jurisdictions, the exclusions in this section apply only to the extent permitted, and you may have additional mandatory rights. Nothing here removes warranties or guarantees that cannot be excluded under the law of your country of residence.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sapienta Digital LLC, its officers, employees, instructors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, resulting from (i) your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the products; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the products; or (iii) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.
In no event shall our aggregate liability for all claims related to the products exceed the total amount you paid to us for the specific product in dispute.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under mandatory applicable law (including mandatory EU/UK consumer law).
10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
10.1. For consumers in the EU, the UK, and equivalent jurisdictions: If you are a consumer, you benefit from the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence. These Terms do not deprive you of the protection of those mandatory provisions, and you retain the right to bring proceedings in, and to rely on the consumer-protection laws of, your country of residence. We will also direct any claim we bring against you to the courts of your country of residence where required by law.
10.2. EU Online Dispute Resolution: The European Commission provides an Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform for consumers, available at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not currently obliged to, and do not commit to, use an alternative dispute-resolution body, but you may use the ODR platform to submit a complaint.
10.3. For all other users (non-consumers, and consumers outside the jurisdictions in 10.1): These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute not subject to Section 10.1 shall first be addressed through good-faith informal resolution: contact support [at] craftilla.com, and both parties will attempt to resolve the matter within 30 days. If unresolved, the dispute shall be settled by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, seated in Miami, Florida, and judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may bring an individual claim in a small-claims court of competent jurisdiction.
10.4. The informal-resolution step in 10.3 is encouraged for all users, including consumers, before any formal proceeding.
11. Amendments to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted to this page, with an updated "Last updated" date. For material changes that affect your rights, we will take reasonable steps to notify active customers (for example, by email). Your continued use of the products and website after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms. Changes do not apply retroactively to the terms of a purchase already completed.
